I was born to problem solve and create products that make people happy. Ever since I can remember, I have been interested in figuring out how and why things work the way they do. This curiosity has led me to a career in designing consumer goods that are both interesting and put smiles on people's faces. I have over 20+ years of experience in this industry and have worked in nearly every facet of bringing fun, innovative products to market.

This experience and product knowledge has allowed me to help bring the Dumbgood e-com brand to life. We have worked tirelessly for the last eight years to create an industry-leading, licensed e-commerce fashion lifestyle brand. Dumbgood specializes in elevated and unique products that bring edge and trend to the licensed merchandise product market. Starting a small business from scratch required me to wear many hats, fight through many failures, and revel in success. I have held nearly every job needed to run a small business, but my natural strengths are problem-solving, organizing and managing task lists, and bringing great product ideas to life.

Not surprisingly, Dumbgood was not my first try at creating an e-com brand. Previously, I was part of a private label headwear brand called CRSHR (crusher). This brand lasted for about three years and taught me a lot about running a small business and how to learn from failure and success. Unfortunately, CRSHR was not paying the bills and had to be dissolved to make way for Dumbgood.

Through our success with Dumbgood, I have been able to add staff and grow our business from zero to millions in revenue year after year. This success has allowed me to pursue my interest in product development and product management more deeply. The hands-on experience building the business has also allowed me to understand the day-to-day problems that arise for all of the important job roles involved with running an e-com brand. Helping to build and run this business has been a dream and working through its design and management challenges is what keeps me engaged and happy.
